Something was on my mind after reading all these great new characters on book 2. So many have a connection to the spirit World and Korra is still a bit flaky (Im guessing)Connection to the spiritual world in the show must be the same as being religious,Christian, etc in our world. This is where I can relate to Korra. I am a christian but I do not go to Church every Sunday, nor read the Bible. Personally I rarely read it. I watch TV pastors and listen to passages and recall them later. But I never been the speak in tongues, meditate on God’s word for hours in a secret room,go to Bible camp, groups, etc, etc. I just never did that, but that also means it REALLY annoys me when folks who are religious or related to pastors, etc look down at me as though I must be some kinda reject, demon. After all I look at ALL the talents, skills, the Lord has blessed me with and I use them, but being super connected to God like the way others do, and often gloat then look down at others. Sorry…but..that’s not me. This is where I might have a love/hate relationship towards the twins on how they will treat Korra in book 2 and others who are connected to the spirit world then look down at Korra. After all, Korra is who she is. Just like I am who I am. Maybe Korra’s connection to the Spirit world doesnt come super easy like others but she’s still pretty awesome, IMO.And that’s my thoughts from the views of a Christian watching Legend Of Korra.
